Khadim Rasulillah (The Servant of the Messenger of Allah) • رضي الله عنه
Entrusted to the Prophet ﷺ by his mother Umm Sulaym at age ten upon the Hijrah to Madinah. Served the Prophet ﷺ intimately for ten full years without ever receiving a rebuke or harsh word. The third most prolific hadith narrator (2,286 traditions) and the last surviving companion to pass away in Basra.
“Anas said: 'I served the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for ten years. By Allah, he never said to me Uff! nor did he ever say: Why did you do this? or Why did you not do that?'”
