The Beloved Brother of Prophet Yusuf ﷺ • عليه السلام
The faithful younger full brother of Prophet Yusuf ﷺ from their mother Rachel. He never participated in the treachery of the older brothers and was joyously reunited with Yusuf in Egypt as chronicled in Surah Yusuf.
وَلَمَّا دَخَلُوا عَلَىٰ يُوسُفَ آوَىٰ إِلَيْهِ أَخَاهُ ۖ قَالَ إِنِّي أَنَا أَخُوكَ فَلَا تَبْتَئِسْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
“And when they entered upon Joseph, he took his brother to himself; he said, 'Indeed, I am your brother, so do not despair over what they used to do.'”
