Amin Sirr Rasulillah (Confidant of the Messenger of Allah) • رضي الله عنه
The trusted companion to whom the Prophet ﷺ confided the confidential roster of hypocrites (*Munafiqun*). Chosen by the Prophet ﷺ on the bitterly cold, storm-swept night of the Battle of the Trench to infiltrate the enemy camp and gather critical intelligence. Later commanded Muslim forces at the conquest of Nihawand and Al-Mada'in.
“The Prophet ﷺ called on the night of the Confederates: 'Who will infiltrate their camp and bring me news of the enemy? He will be my companion in Paradise.' Hudhayfah said: 'I was chosen and sent.'”
