The First to Believe in Ibrahim's Prophethood • عليه السلام
Nephew and closest early companion of Prophet Ibrahim ﷺ in Mesopotamia. He was the very first person to openly proclaim belief in Ibrahim's call and migrated alongside him across Haran and Syria before receiving his own prophetic commission.
فَآمَنَ لَهُ لُوطٌ ۘ وَقَالَ إِنِّي مُهَاجِرٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
“And Lot believed him. [Abraham] said, 'Indeed, I will emigrate to [the service of] my Lord. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.'”
