Katib al-Wahy (Scribe of Revelation), Khal al-Mu'minin • رضي الله عنه
Accepted Islam around the Conquest of Makkah and was appointed by the Prophet ﷺ as an official scribe writing letters and revelation. Served as governor of Syria under Umar and Uthman for twenty years, founded the first Islamic naval fleet, and established the Umayyad Caliphate reigning with renowned forbearance (*Hilm*).
