Sadin al-Bayt (Hereditary Custodian of the Ka'bah Keys) • رضي الله عنه
Hereditary guardian of the keys of the Holy Ka'bah. Upon the Conquest of Makkah, after the idols were cleansed, the Prophet ﷺ returned the key to Uthman ibn Talhah, decreeing by revelation (Surah An-Nisa 4:58): 'Take it, O Banu Talhah, eternally and perpetually; none shall take it from you except an oppressor.'
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَن تُؤَدُّوا الْأَمَانَاتِ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهَا
