Rebellious leaders slaughter the camel; after three days a thunderous blast (as-Sayhah) destroys them.
“And certainly did the companions of Thamud (al-Hijr) deny the messengers.”
“Sahih al-Bukhari 3378: When the Prophet ﷺ passed by Al-Hijr on the way to Tabuk, he ordered his companions not to enter the dwellings of those who had wronged themselves unless weeping.”
