Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was born in Makkah in 570 CE into the noble clan of Banu Hashim. Known prior to revelation as As-Sadiq al-Amin (The Truthful, The Trustworthy), at the age of forty he received the first verses of the Qur'an in the Cave of Hira: 'Read in the name of your Lord who created' (96:1). For thirteen years in Makkah, he and his early companions endured intense persecution calling to pure tawhid. In 622 CE, he made the momentous Hijrah to Yathrib (Madinah), establishing the first Islamic society based on brotherhood and constitutional justice (Sahifat al-Madinah). Through resolute wisdom, treaties, and defensive battles, he unified Arabia under monotheism, completed his Farewell Pilgrimage, and passed away in Madinah in 632 CE.
« مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَٰكِن رَّسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا »
« وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ »
