Prophet Yaqub ﷺ, also addressed in the Qur'an as Isra'il, represents sublime patience (Sabrun Jamil) during protracted trials. Bereaved of his most beloved son Yusuf and later Binyamin, he never relinquished hope in the mercy of Allah, famously declaring: 'I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you do not know' (Yusuf 12:86). After decades of separation, his sight was restored upon receiving Yusuf's shirt, and his entire family migrated to Egypt.
